We have a dream

In the following we would like to show you a world in which everyone of us is free to chose the medical treatment which oneself has decided to be the right choice and method. In our dream there are physicians who are free of any constraints of an institutionalized doctor’s office and, with the mutual agreement of their patients, apply such therapy that they consider suitable for them; hence they will not be disciplined by or excluded from various organisations or associations.

Our dream also includes that those politicians and secretaries of state responsible for the health resort are not judged by the political enforceability of higher contribution rates to health insurance companies but by what they have done to improve people’s health in a measurable way and with a lasting influence. In our dream we start with our political leadership being faced with our demand for their taking over responsibility more and more each day.

At the end of our dream we find ourselves to have achieved real progress and no pretended one. We are dreaming of some day when “medical progress” is not just a PR cliché but true reality. In our vision better health resulted in decreasing costs for the health care system.

Our dream of an ideal scene towards our health condition also includes that we all have started to take back responsibility for our own health into our own hands. It is part of our dream that we all have the right to indicate to every citizen with impunity again and again that the substances from Mother Nature are better than anything else the “researcher” may ever invent in the retorts of his laboratory. That day those many like-minded comrades of naturopathy are free to maintain, without being permanently threatened by some kind of peculiar legislation, that an increased administration of vitamin C can “heal” a cold quicker. In our dream naturopaths are also allowed to express such claims – which by the way are true – in the same way as Bayer is allowed to enrich aspirin with vitamin C in order to at least partly compensate for the side effects by means of a natural substance.

We are dreaming of a world where naturopathy without constraints and threats has the same liberties that our legislation has given to the pharmaceutical industry. We believe that the better concept will be successful on a free market with no regulations, for the benefit of the individual and the for the benefit of all.

We are convinced that in general we all are dreaming of a world where modern science no longer will take advantage of our ignorance but will explain to us frankly and honestly the risks and side effects for everyone to understand; moreover, we dream of a world where it is mandatory by law for each supplier to provide the necessary information not written in the way of the usual medical mumbo-jumbo that the ordinary citizen cannot comprehend. We believe that it is urgently necessary to tell people the truth about the side effects of one method compared with another one.

We dream of the day when the responsible doctor has given up being afraid of losing income and reputation and has decided to show the people the way to long-term and natural health by means of proper nutrition. We dream of a time which can be compared with the past time when doctors in China could get very rich because they succeeded in having a great many of healthy patients. Such a doctor used to have very much lanterns in front of his house so one could see that this doctor was very successful and the people in his surrounding were very healthy. May all our doctors be wealthy and have many lanterns as long as they bring us health instead of medical products with side effects.
